Many of these countries allow tourist entry and offer visa on arrival while other allow the visitor stay for a specified number of days or months before a visa will be required. Madagascar, officially the Republic of Madagascar, and previously known as the Malagasy Republic, is an island country in the Indian Ocean

There is no Madagascan embassy or consulate here in Nigeria, nationals of any country can obtain a visa valid for 30 days upon arrival in Madagascar. For stays over one month, application for a visa from the nearest Madagascan Embassy would be required.
