Ireland

Ireland is not party to the Schengen Agreement, and a Schengen visa or residence permit does not entitle you to travel to Ireland without a visa. Unless you qualify for the short stay visa waiver programme, a valid UK visa does not entitle you to travel to Ireland without a visa.

Ireland (or Eire) is an independent sovereign state and it is different from Northern Ireland (also known as Ulster) which is part of the United Kingdom, alongside England, Scotland, and Wales.

This requires that you seek permission to enter the State (you will need to have the appropriate Irish entry visa if you are visa required for entry to Ireland). Also, if you will be transiting in another airport you will need to have a  transit Irish visa.
