South Africa Tourist Visa FAQs

South Africa Sticker Visa Fees (self submission at VFS office):

  1. Appointment fee: NGN30,000 (mandatory).
  2. Courier services: NGN8,500 – NGN11,000 (optional).
  3. Premium lounge: NGN12,500 (optional).
  4. Visa application fee: NGN18,000 (mandatory)- paid at VFS office

South Africa E-visa Fees (online submission):

  1. E-visa fee: $87

  • Visa Application fee is the fee you pay to the embassy for applying for a visa
  • Visa Processing fee is the fee you pay to TATAgency for visa services rendered to you

7-30days: You might only be able to stay for 7-30days maximum per time but this is at the discretion of the consular

  • Sticker Visa: 3-4 weeks after submission
  • E-visa (online only): 3-8 weeks after submission
  • E-visa (VFS submission): 15-20 business days after submission


Yes you can, provided you have a sponsor

A sponsor is anyone who will be responsible for providing the funds for your trip


  • For sticker visa, It’s paper submission but you must have your appointment booked and confirmed before you can go and submit at the VFS centre.
  • For E-visa, there are two types: the one you will go for submission at the VFS and the other that is online submission only.


  • For sticker visa:

Submission is based on the available appointment date. Please note that the appointment date availability changes from time to time.

  • For E-visa:

If you are going for the one that requires you to submit at the embassy: submission is based on the available appointment date

If you are going for strictly online, you will submit within our internal processing time.
