Visa Guide

Congratulations on your visa approval once again!

We will guide you in this questions section on what you need to know about your visa, travel preparations, and travel guides.

Check the validity period of your visa on the visa sticker or eVisa issued to you and make sure you enter the country before it expires.

Your visa duration will be indicated by the number of days or stated as period (i.e, entry date and exit date)

Ensure that you have at least a validity of at least 6 months on your international passport from the date of your departure.

Your international passport must be valid from when you wish to travel and when you wish to return to your home country.

The entry requirements for individual countries vary, so be sure to verify if any additional document, examination, or test is required for you to enter the country after your visa has been granted.

Popular additional requirements after visa are:

  1. International passport
  2. Yellow fever vaccine card/certificate
  3. Police character certificate
  4. NDLEA drug test certificate
  5. Fit-to-Fly Certificate
  6. Travel insurance

NB: These documents vary depending on the country that you are visiting with your visa

Flight booking is one of the most important aspect of your travel plan because a wrong flight can mess your travel plans up and demoralize you from taking a trip.

We have experts who will ensure to place you on the correct flight, give advice on the best possible route considering layover periods, and provide transit visa information (where required).

Your convenience is essential while you are away from home.

If you want to have an enjoyable travel experience/vacation, then you need to plan a good accommodation for your stay period.

You can choose to stay in a hotel, hostel, vacation rental, or apartment. However, it is important to not get it wrong because you won't enjoy it if its not as comfortable as a home.

Our vacation teams are expert in accommodation selection for different travel plans, family/group size or travel periods.

Travel Health Insurance is very important for every traveller and you also should get one while you are making your travel plan.

This single document gives you access to medical attention that you may require at any time when you are out of your home country.

Travel health insurance may be country specific or a worldwide coverage: A country specific policy will only provide you with health insurance in a single country of visit while a worldwide policy gives you medical coverage across many countries.

The amount of money needed for your trip is usually based on the number of days that you plan to spend, the class of flight you wish to fly and they type of accommodation that you wish to stay at in the proposed country of visit.

Ensure to have enough money in your account and a substantial amount of cash at hand as well. At least $2,000.

It is important to understand the class of visa that was issued to you as you may be asked questions at the port of entry when departing or arriving in your proposed country of visit.

You may face some troubles if your visa is for a visit/vacation and you tell the entry clearance officer that you are going for business.

Know your visa type and answer correctly when asked.

If you are traveling for a job or study program, ensure to have the job details with backup documents, or your program/institution information and requirements before travelling as you may be asked to provide details at the port of entry

Ensure to conclude all required registrations with the local authorities and check in with the relevant authorities upon arrival at the country of visit where necessary. This is dependent on your purpose of visit

Understand and comply with the terms and conditions of your visa to avoid any issues before, during or after your stay.

It is important to understand the difference between the “duration of stay” issued by the embassy and the '"visa duration" granted on your visa.

Example: Some country embassies might issue you a visa valid for 3 months but you may only have a 3 weeks permit to stay in the country. This means that you can only visit the country for a period of 3 weeks within the 3 months visa validity.

Compliance with this visa conditions are essential towards maintaining a good immigration record.
